The Lakes International Comic Art Festival has announced the comic creators who will have a presence in their free-to-enter Comics Clock Tower venue in Kendal Town Hall in October.
The creators were chosen after hundreds of applications were sifted through by the Festival team and its patrons, and you'll find guests at the event such as Rufus Dayglo and Duncan Fegredo rubbing shoulders with top independent comic creators from across the UK and Ireland such as Luke Hyde, PB Rainey and Cliodhna Ztoical, along with publishers such as Cinebook, Centrala and Improper Books.
A number of Australian comic artists will also be in the Clock Tower - a full list of that line-up has yet to be revealed. The Festival's full programme (which will include as-yet-announced creators who'll be in the weekend-long event's "Family Zone") will be announced on 15th May 2017, with the event taking place 13th - 15th October 2017.
Alongside already-highlighted guests such as Sergio Aragonés, Jason Latour, Stan Sakai, Charlie Adlard, Hannah Berry, Brendan McCarthy and Peter Milligan there is plenty that has already seen comics fans reaching for their mouse and booking early for the weekend of 13th - 15th October 2017. Weekend passes are on sale now!
