Born in 1979, she is the author of four comic albums published by Suuri Kurpitsa and she has self-published several small press publications. Reetta has also illustrated a great number of children’s books.

Many of her comics draw from family history, memories and stories heard in her childhood. Her debut album Lempi ja rakkaus (2010) tells the love story of her grand mother. Aavepianisti (2011) is a collection of ghost stories, Saniainen kukkii juhannuksena (2013) is based on a true story on one midsummer’s days events. Her latest comic album Maalarisiskot (2019) tells a story about Helene Schjerfbeck and three other Finnish women painters in the late 1800’s, struggling to find their way as an artist.  Reetta is currently working on a series of small comics based on her old diary entries.
